To configure Okta SSO for Agora:

  1. Within Okta, navigate to Applications > Applications.

  2. Click Browse App Catalog.

  3. Within the Browse App Integration Catalog section, enter ‘Agora’ into the Search field and click Agora.

  4. Click Add Integration.

Note: OIDC (OpenID Connect) and SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) are SSO authentication protocols that Agora supports.

  5. Under General Settings:

    1. Enter the Application label.

    2. Leave the Application Visibility checkbox disabled. This will allow users you provision to see the Agora tile within their Okta account.

    3. Click Done.

  6. Navigate to Agora, keeping Okta open in another tab.

  7. On the bottom-left of your Agora dashboard, click Settings.

  8. Navigate to Organization > Security > Okta SSO.

  9. To copy the Company ID from Agora and paste into Okta:

    1. In Agora, copy the My Company ID by clicking the associated Copy icon.

    2. Navigate back to Okta, keeping Agora open in another tab.

    3. Navigate to the Sign-On tab and click Edit.

    4. Scroll down to the Advanced Sign-on Settings section and paste the Company Id into the associated field.

    5. Click Save.

  10. To copy the Client ID from Okta and paste into Agora:

    1. In Okta, copy the Client ID by clicking the associated Copy icon.

    2. Navigate back to Agora, keeping Okta open in another tab.

    3. Paste the Client ID into the associated field.

  11. To copy the Client Secret from Okta and paste into Agora:

    1. In Okta, copy the Client Secret by clicking the associated Copy icon.

    2. Navigate back to Agora, keeping Okta open in another tab.

    3. Paste the Client Secret into the associated field.

      1. To view the client secret, click the View icon.

  12. In Agora, enter the Issuer URL. This is the first part of your Okta URL including “.com.” (e.g., 'https://payscale.okta.com').

  13. Click Save.

  14. Okta SSO will be enforced after the first successful user sign-in. We recommend logging out of Agora and logging back in via SSO.

Note: If any Okta configuration parameters have changed, the user will need to log out and log back into Agora using Okta to ensure Okta SSO is enforced.
